A-Plus Agrees to Offer Info on Ahmed Suale Murder
Retired Ghanaian musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus has acceded to police request to offer all information at his disposal to unravel the mystery and faceless individuals behind the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
In a Facebook post, he said he would visit the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) later at 2 pm today and said he is prepared to divulge all the truth.
The controversial politician posted, “I’ll be at CID headquarters at 2 pm to give information on Ahmed Suale. The truth! Nothing but the truth.”
It comes after the Ghana Police Service issued a statement announcing he had been invited to aid in the investigations.
A-Plus in a Facebook live broadcast on July 14, 2024, disclosed he is holding useful information about the death of the journalist which occurred in 2019 but noted he was willing to give it out to the police only on the condition that they provided him with a security detail.
It is unknown if he has reached an agreement with the police on the demand.
