President Akufo-Addo Tours Ashanti Region

President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo is on a tour of the Ashanti Region, the New Patriotic Party’s election stronghold.
He continues his regional tours after it was halted to attend the 76th United Nations General Assembly Meeting on September 17, 2021.
The last tour was in the Volta Region where he paid courtesy calls on traditional leaders, commissioned and cut sod for projects.
President Akufo-Addo’s tour of the Ashanti Region is expected to last for four days starting from 1st -4th October 2021.
He will pay a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the King of Asanteman today.
 
The last time President Akufo-Addo visited his stronghold was on August 17, 2021 when he commissioned Agenda 111 initiative at Trede.
