Gomoa West Votes Bismark Baisie Nkum DCE
The Gomoa West Assembly yesterday confirmed the nomination of Hon. Bismark Baisie Nkum as the District Chief Executive.
Out of the 52 votes, he garnered 39. He was immediately sworn in.
The event was attended by the Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Marigold Assan and others.
Hon. Nkum, who is also the President of the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana, NALAG has been appointed for the second time as D.C.E.
In a post, he thanked his district for yet another opportunity.
”Thank you Assembly Members for Gomoa West District and the Good people of Gomoa West for this Great opportunity to elect me to serve the District once again !!!”
Taking to Facebook to congratulate him, Hon. Oppong Nkrumah wrote, “Congratulations Hon. Bismark Baisie Nkum and ayekooo to all the assembly members.”
Hon. Justina Assan is optimistic that confirmation of all Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executive nominees will be devoid of violence.
