Just In: Vinicius Junior Parted Ways With Kotoko After Three Months
Brazilian striker, Vinicius Junior, has parted ways with Kotoko after three months with the Ghanaian giants, Mariano Barreto has confirmed.
Asante Kotoko announced the capture of Brazilian forward Michael Vinicius Silva de Morais on March 17, 2021.
The striker was supposed to join the Porcupine Warriors on a two-and-a-half year deal, but the coach of the club has confirmed his departure just after the team’s triumph over Bekwai Youth Football Academy in the MTN FA Cup.
Vinicius has had previous stints with Fluminense (Brazil), Linkoping City and Vasalunds IF (Sweden).
The striker scored two goals in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
