The late Herbert Addo is my all-time best coach – E. Akuoko

Experienced and dependable defender, Emmanuel Akuoko, also known among his peers as Obubulebu, has named the late Ghanaian Coach, Herbert Addo, as his all-time best coach as a player following his consummate expertise in coaching.
The General captain of Aduana Stars claims he has not seen a coach who really understands his job like the late Herbert Addo locally.
According to Emmanuel Akuoko who has been with Aduana Stars over a decade, Herbert Addo was a father to the players, and he had a unique way to compel you to get the job done for him.
“The Late Herbert Addo will be my all-time best coach. He was a teacher who teaches you to your understanding.” “He was the one who will prepare food for us before match days. He spoke to us just like his children.”
“He used to play me at different positions because he told me that he has seen Michael Essien in me.”
The late Herbert Addo guided Aduana Stars to win their first Premier League title in their maiden season. Aduana Stars won the Ghana Premier League title in 2009–10 when the team ended the season as the fewest scoring side in the league, setting a world record for least productive champions with 19 goals in 30 matches. With an average of 0.6333 goals per match, they broke the all-time record set by Trabzonspor. The Turkish Süper Lig side became champions in 1979–80 with 25 goals in 30 matches (average of 0.8333).
