Two Assembly Members, One Other Wanted over Tepa Ransacking
Three individuals including two assembly members have been declared wanted by the police for a ransacking incident that happened in Tepa in the Ashanti Region following last weekend’s election.
They have been identified as Akakpo, the Assembly member for Akwasiase, George, the Assembly member for Maabang, and one Mujeed.
The three were the only identified individuals among some persons who invaded a private warehouse and radio station at Tepa.
At the warehouse, they allegedly made away with agricultural spraying machines, bags of fertilizers, Wellington boots and others.
“Police operation is underway to get the suspects arrested to face the full rigours of the law,” the Ghana Police Service said in a statement on December 10, 2024.
