Kunsuhene Calls for Peace During Elections
The Chief of Kunsu, Nana Dr. Agyemang Badu Duah, has urged representatives and members of the two major political parties, New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ahafo Ano South West Constituency to maintain peace during and after the elections.
In a meeting with both NPP and NDC candidates, as well as other elders, at his Kunsu residence, Nana Agyemang Badu Duah appreciated the positive response to his call for peace.
Both parties agreed to refrain from insults and personal attacks.
The leaders of the parties also promised to advise their members to comport themselves during the elections.
Furthermore, both parties will organize peace walks to promote unity.
Nana Agyemang Badu Duah stressed the need for unity, emphasizing that everyone is part of one big family and should eschew violence.
The meeting was attended by notable figures, including DCE Hon Frimpong Joseph Bonsu, Rev. Kyei Kusi, and representatives from both NPP and NDC.
