Parliament’s Senior Catering Officer Elected Vice Chair of Chefs Association

A senior catering officer at the Parliament of Ghana, Jerry Yirenkyi, has been elected as the Vice Chairman of the Greater Accra chapter of the Chefs Association of Ghana.

Mr. Yirekyi was elected at the just-ended third National Conference of the Chefs Association of Ghana held in Kumasi on the theme: Growing Great Chefs: The Role of Educational Institutions.

In a Facebook post expressing gratitude to the Chefs Association for the confidence reposed in him as the new Greater Accra Vice Chairman of the association, he pledged his commitment to work tirelessly in promoting the development of members and the interest of the association while promoting culinary excellence in the country.

Other positions voted for include the Greater Accra regional chapter chairman, treasurer, organizing coordinator, and secretary.

The new executives of the Accra chapter would serve a four-year term in office.
