Losing 3 Consecutive Matches Is Not Good- Ogum

The head coach of Asante Kotoko SC, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has acknowledged the poor run his team is having in recent times.

Following their 1-0 defeat to Bechem United away from home marking their third loss this season, he noted that the needed work will be put in place to transform their fortunes and deliver the needed results.

“It’s not good but then the most important thing is that we can work on it and turn the results in our favour,” he assured the press at Bechem.

He added, “We are going to work harder. We will look at the recurring errors.”

That notwithstanding, he expressed his satisfaction with the way his boys played against the opponents, calling the outcome an “unfortunate loss”.

“It’s an unfortunate loss if you at the way we played to me we played very well. We created very decent chances we could have converted especially in the first half. In the second half too we did create a lot but the game is all about scoring goals.

“We didn’t actually convert our chances and then out of nothing from 50 yards or 40 yards they got that unexpected goal. After that, we still could have come back {because} we created some decent chances but then we still.”

Kotoko have now dropped to sixth place with 15 points.
