Successful Police Applicants Invited for Medical Test

Successful applicants for police recruitment have received an invitation from the Ghana Police Service to undergo a medical examination.

This exercise slated for November 7 and 8 will take place at designated centres in Accra, the police said in a press statement on Tuesday.

The test will be conducted at a cost of GHc980.

These venues include the Police Church premises near 37 Military Hospital, the Police Church at Odorkor, the Police Interdenominational Church premises at Tesano, the Formed Police Unit Headquarters at Tesano, the Detective Training School at Tesano and the Police Academy at Tesano.

While cautioning the successful applicants against paying any fee other than the medical fee, unsuccessful applicants were also discouraged from paying to be recruited.

“We wish to caution successful candidates in particular and the public in general that anyone who demands any other payment from any person should be considered a fraudster and must be reported to the police.”

“We also wish to caution unsuccessful candidates against making payments to any person demanding money under the pretext of assisting them to get recruited.”

This comes after the applicants sat for an examination at designated centres across the 16 regional capitals on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
