All NDC Parliamentary Candidates File Nominations
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that all their Parliamentary candidates have completed the process in contesting in the 2024 Parliamentary elections.
It followed the filing by the Presidential Candidate of the party, John Dramani Mahama.
This was announced by the Director of Elections and IT of the opposition party, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, in a Facebook post on Friday, September 13, 2024.
“I am happy to announce that since HE John Dramani Mahama filed his nominations on Monday, all 276 NDC Parliamentary Candidates have filed their nominations. The Victory of NDC is coming again! Thanks to all who played diverse roles to bring us thus far.”
The deadline for the filing of the nominations is today after opening on August 2, 2024.
Persons interested in contesting as the Presidential candidates had to pay GHc100,000 through a banker’s draft while Parliamentary candidates were billed to pay Ghc10,000 for the filing.
Prospective female Presidential candidates and persons with disability were billed GHc75,000 while female Parliamentary candidates were billed Ghc7,500.
