Hearts MD Still at Post

Accra Hearts of Oak have deflated speculations suggesting their Managing Director, Dr Delali Anku-Adiamah, has stepped down.

According to the Club, he is still at post.

Hearts released a press statement explaining that the MD had only embarked on a trip to the United Kingdom (UK) for family-related matters and is expected back in the country next week.

“Our Managing Director has travelled to the United Kingdom to attend to pressing family issues. Dr. Delali would be back in Ghana to continue with his role next week and before the commencement of the new football season.”

The club used the occasion to urge the media to desist from propagating speculations.

“We use this opportunity to appeal to the general public and, most especially, the media to always seek clarification from the club before going public to avoid unsubstantiated publications.”
