US Embassy Closed
Persons seeking the services of the United States (US) Embassy in Accra, Ghana, today will have to wait for another day.
This is because the Embassy is closed to the public as it marks the Independence Day of the US.
The Embassy issued a notice on Facebook to announce their holiday on July 4 saying they are marking the 248th Independence Day of their country.
“In commemoration of the 248th Independence Day of the United States of America, the Embassy is closed to the public today.”
Work is however expected to resume on Friday.
The federal holiday, popularly known as the Fourth of July, marks the day the US secured its independence from Great Britain in 1776.
