Asantehemaa Is A Unifier – Chief of Staff
Hon Akosua Frema Osei Opare, the President’s Chief of Staff has described the Queen of the Asante Kingdom, Nana Konadu Yiadom III as a unifying force in Asanteman.
Just as may be required of a woman who leads women in such a great Kingdom, she recognizes that the Queen has done more.
Speaking at the Queen Mothers’ Day event at the Manhyia Palace as the Guest of Honour, the first female Presidential Chief of Staff of the country hailed the efforts of the Queen.
“We are proud of you for your love for us. Your leadership has been a unifying force for all queen mothers in your realm. You effort has led to what we see today.”
She further thanked Her Majesty for her unflinching love, support, and compassion for all women including herself and as such committed herself to improve and attend to all the needs of markets under the Queen’s authority.
“I thank Nana Konadu Yiadom III for her support and love shown me… For the love and affection shown me, I commit myself to assist markets in your realm. In cases of fire outbreak, and any other pressing occasion, I will gladly assist.”
Meanwhile, she congratulated the King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on his achievements in the past 25 years on the Golden Stool.
“You have done a lot in health and education sectors. The recent being the Heal KATH project and the famous education fund which has afforded the brilliant but underprivileged, the benefit of being educated.”
