Don’t Choose Politics Over God- Nigel Gaisie To John Kumah’s Widow
The founder and leader of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has warned the wife of the late John Kumah, Apostle Lilian Kumah to tread cautiously following her recent reaction to his December 31 prophecy about the former Ejisu lawmaker.
In a Facebook Live session on Monday, he advised the lady pastor not to be swayed by politics and denigrate God in the process.
“To everything we do, God first. Truth is harmless. You can’t do anything against the truth but for the truth…If the NPP has paid her to discredit me, it won’t work…She must understand that she must choose God over politics.”
He posited that the death of the former deputy Finance Minister was avoidable as he had prompted his wife several times personally and through intermediaries to no avail.
“You {Apostle Lilian Kumah} could have saved your husband,” he stated, adding, “You don’t die an avoidable death.”
‘Fake Prophecy’
In an interview which has since taken the airwaves, the wife of the late Ejisu Member of Parliament cast doubt on the ingenuity of the December 31, 2023 prophecy about the death of her husband, saying “Nigel Gaisie knew very well that my husband was terminally ill as far back as August 2023.”
According to her, Prophet Gaisie was a family friend and already knew John Kumah was “seriously sick”.
“Nigel Gaisie knew very well that my husband was terminally ill as far back as August 2023 but regardless of that, he stood on his altar on 31st December 2023 to lie through his supposed prophesy that a Ghanaian deputy minister will die in the year 2024. What does he want to achieve through these fake prophesies?” John Kumah’s widow further stated according to Asaase Radio.
She also accused him of being promiscuous.
Reaction
In his Facebook live broadcast, Prophet Gaisie denied prior knowledge of the status of John Kumah’s health ahead of his prophecy and further denied being a friend to the Kumah family.
“I didn’t know he had a terminal disease. Am I a doctor to know?”
According to him, they were his spiritual children. He recounted how he first met Apostle Kumah at Obuasi in 2015, before the NPP came to power, at a time, he said, the Kumah family were broke.
He said he built a father-daughter relationship with Lilian from there after he had prophesied to her about her husband and father. He furthered that following his prophecy about the comeback of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2020 election, the couple cut ties with him.
He never met the couple since then as they had avoided him and refused to pick up calls sanctioned by him in an attempt to communicate the revelation about Hon Kumah’s death, he said. He said he only met Apostle Kumah in September 2023 at Movenpick and tried reasoning with her about the revelation.
“I met her at Movenpick. I approached her and she acted rude so I retreated immediately after telling her to let her husband call me.”
He queried, “Is it that you {Apostle Lilian} know something about the death of your husband?”
