Lordina Supports Failatu With Kitchen Wares
Former First Lady Lordina Mahama has gifted kitchen wares to Abdul Razak Failatu, who is attempting to break the longest cooking marathon record in the world.
This was confirmed by the personal aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari on Facebook.
The wares according to her, encompass perfect cooking bowls, knives and ladles.
“Thank you, Mama! Mrs. Lordina Mahama for supporting Jah Bless Faila and her Cook-A-Thon attempt with the perfect cooking bowls, JORDIN Kitchenware, knives and ladles.”
Second Lady Samira Bawumia is also reported to have donated to express her solidarity as well with foodstuff.
She is reported to have donated 10 bags of rice, each weighing 25 kilos, two substantial gallons of cooking oil containing 25 litres each, two cartons of tin tomatoes, two cartons of canned mackerel, two cartons of tuna flakes, and two cartons of sardines.
Faila began the challenge on Monday midnight at Modern City Hotel and intends to surpass the current record holder’s marathon of 119 hours 57 minutes.
The Ghanaian chef has entered the fifth day of the challenge and has done 110 hours of continuous cooking as of 2pm on January 5.
Her adventure was advertised to end today. However, she is expected to do more hours after learning a Ugandan chef by the name Dorcus Bashema Kirabo, alias Mama D had reportedly gone 144 hours, seven minutes and 24 seconds which is yet to be certified by the GWR.
