Parliament Reconvenes On Tuesday

The Parliament of Ghana will reconvene on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, a statement issued by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin has said.

Legislators are to report at exactly 10 a.m. for the business of the House.

“Pursuant to standing order 32(2) of the Parliament of Ghana, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby notify Honourable Members of the Third Meeting of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic which shall commence on Tuesday, 31 October at Ten O’clock in the forenoon at Parliament House, Accra.”

The resumption falls in line with the presentation of the 2024 Budget Statement and Economic Policy in November by the Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori Atta.

The House went on recess in August 2023.
