Man Killed In Robbery Attack At Block Factory

The police have reported the death of one person in Appolonia City, a suburb of Oyibi in Accra, during a robbery incident at a block factory.

The deceased was among the victims of the robbery attack on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

The factory, according to a statement issued by the police, was attacked by five robbers who made away with some goods including cash.

“The gang, numbering about five, during the attack also made away with an unspecified amount of money and mobile phones belonging to the victims.”

Details on circumstances leading to the death of the deceased were not readily available, however, the police said his remains have been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.

The identity of the deceased was also not disclosed.

In the meantime, the police have stated that investigations into the incident are underway, and a manhunt is ongoing to apprehend the robbers and bring them to justice.

“We wish to assure the public that we will surely get them.”
