I Am Not All That Disappointed, Kotoko Acting Head Coach Gazele Reacts To Draw With Bibiani
Acting Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdulai Gazele has reacted to the club’s 1:1 draw game against Bibiani Gold Stars in the week 30 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors proved their grit to grab the three maximum points at stake when Solomon Sarfo Taylor broke the deadlock within five minutes of the game.
But Asante Kotoko could not hold on after taking the early lead at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Bibiani Gold Stars put up a prismatic fray to exert pressure on Asante Kotoko to level the score, but they had to wait until additional time to level the score.
Experienced striker, Abednego Tetteh out jumped Mubarik Yussif to head an east-winger cross to hit the back of the net on 90th minute, deepening the recent poor display of the Fabulous side.
Speaking after the game, Abdulai Gazele, the Acting Head coach of Asante Kotoko expressed that he is not all that disappointed with results.
“I will not say I am all that disappointed because we took the lead in the first-five minutes of the game and we were able to contain the game up to this particular moment. Unfortunately an individual error happened and it affected the whole team, so I cannot just say I it was too disappointing ,” said Gazele.
He added; “One error caused us and you can not use that to say the team didn’t perform well.”
Asante Kotoko is languishing on the 6th position with 44 points.
