Dwenewoho Dikro Disturbed Over Abandoned Classroom Block, Calls For Gov’t Support

Dwenewoho, a farming community in the Akropong Traditional Area in the Asante Kingdom has no basic school, resulting in children walking about two miles to nearby communities like Asempanaye, Beposo and Mankranso to access education.

The situation poses serious headache to parents and students as they risk their lives to access education elsewhere.

Nana Ampofo Twumasi, Dwenewoho Dikro, and his elders are appealing to the Ahafo Ano South East District Assembly, the DCE, Hon Thomas Owusu Ansah and MP for the area, Hon Francis Manu Adabor to as a matter of urgency complete the abandoned school block meant for Dwenewoho community under the 1 million per Constituency Program.

In less than two years after assuming the Dwenewoho throne, Nana Ampofo Twumasi has spearheaded many developmental projects in the areas of health, security and human empowerment. He has urged his subjects to rally behind him and his elders to enable them do more to improve living conditions of residents.

Some residents of Dwenewoho hailed their Chief, Nana Ampofo Twumasi for his developmental projects and wished him the best in his endeavors.
