SHS Headmaster Interdicted For Taking “Illegal” Fees

The headmaster of Fijai Senior High School (SHS), Mr Kenneth Agbomadze, has been interdicted for taking unapproved fees.

This was announced by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in a statement dated April 18, 2023.

The news follows promises from the Service since February that investigations will be conducted into allegations of issuance of an unapproved prospectus list and collection of illegal fees by some school authorities.

The interdiction takes effect immediately.

According to the GES, his interdiction is to make way for investigations into the allegation.

In his absence, the Western Regional Education Director will take over supervision of the school.

Meanwhile, the investigation committee has two weeks to present its findings.
