GES Asks BECE Candidates To Verify School Choices

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has presented candidates of the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with the opportunity to verify their second-cycle school choices ahead of the release placements.

Candidates have from 14 January to 22 January to verify.

“Students, Parents/guardians will receive an SMS message from the CSSPS which contains web portal: http://csspsverify.com and USSD short code number *889*88# with a four-digit token number”, it said.

This exercise, the Management of the Service says, will also afford students the chance to rectify errors in their choices.

It, however, emphasised that the exercise is not meant to change schools.

Students with errors are to either call 0556541525, use the edit button available on the portal or send an email with a copy of their original form to ccsp2021@gmail.com.

“This verification process is to ensure accuracy in student’s choice of information before they are placed in their selected second cycle school”, the statement signed by the Head of the Public Relations Unit of the GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo said.
