NPA Revokes Licence of 30 OMCs

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has revoked the licences of 30 Oil Marketing Companies (OMC).

This was announced in a statement by the Chief Executive of the Authority, Mustapha Abdul Hamid.

 

According to him, the revocation was due to non-compliance with the rules and regulations on the part of the Companies.

“NPAGhana wishes to bring to the attention of the general public that licences of underlisted OMC’s have been revoked for non-compliance with the rules and regulations of the Authority on acquisition and maintenance of their licences”, the statement explained.

 

OMCs
The thirty OMCs include Abagurugu Oil Company Limited, Apex Oil Petroleum Ghana Limited, Avos Oil Company Limited, Best Petroleum Limited, Bisvel Petroleum Services, Capstone Oil Limited, Deep Petroleum Limited, Deliman Company Limited, Glee Oil Limited, Golden Petroleum Limited.


Green Petroleum Limited, Hak Oil Company Limited, Havilah Oil Ghana LTD, Hosanna Oil Company Limited, Jas Petroleum Limited, LilyGold Energy Resources Limited, M3 Global Company Limited, Maiga & HHM Company Limited, MBA Global Petroleum Limited, Petra Energy Limited.


Petro Afrique Ghana Limited, Precious Energy Ghana Limited, Q8 Oil (GH.) Company Limited, Rigworld Petroleum Services Limited, Royal Roses Oil Company Limited, Titan Petroleum Limited, Union Oil Ghana Limited, Universal Oil Company Limited, and Warren Oil Company Limited, Zoe Petroleum Limited.

Caution
The Authority has cautioned the general public against transacting with any of the flagged Companies.

“The General Public is hereby warned that engaging with the affected OMCs is at their own risk. The Authority will bear no liability for any loss or damage that may be suffered by any person who chooses to engage with the affected OMCs in whatever capacity.”
