Alleged Mentally Challenged Woman Who “Killed” Man At Circle Arrested
A video shared by United Television on Facebook has shown the arrest of the alleged mentally challenged woman who “killed” a young man at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.
The footage showed the unkempt woman being held and led into a police patrol car by an MTTD officer and two other persons in reflective jackets in the full glare of a crowd who sought to satisfy their curiosity.
After getting onto the cargo bed of the pickup, the woman is seen crying.
Background
Reports indicate that the alleged mentally challenged woman began by pelting stones at vehicles that were passing.
Later the man now deceased was seen chasing the mentally challenged woman and before passers-by realised, the woman had overpowered the man and smashed his head with a block, it is reported.
The incident transpired on August 1, 2022.
