Management Of Dogbe Debunks Nationality Switch Rumours

Management of Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogbe has pooh-poohed media reports to the effect that Dodge has switched nationality to British.

“It has come to the attention of Team Dogbe that a news item is peddling falsehood as to Isaac Dogbe’s nationality”, a statement from the Management stated.

According to the Rising Star Africa Foundation, Dogbe’s management, the young boxer “has and will always fight for Ghana”.

Contrary to reports that Dogbe announced the nationality switch in a press conference, his Management said he “has not granted any interview on a nationality switch. Kindly disregard any such information”.

It further called on the country to throw its weight behind 27-year-old Dogbe ahead of his participation in the North American Boxing Federation champion on Saturday, June 23, 2022.
