The Ghana Education Service (GES) has noted five hundred and seventy-one thousand, eight hundred and ninety-four students will sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The nationwide examination for the final Junior High School students will begin on Monday, November 15, and end on Friday, November 19, 2021.
It will be conducted at some two thousand, one hundred and fifty-eight (2,158) designated centres in Ghana.
In a statement from GES, intercepted by opemsuo.com, management congratulated all candidates for making it this far. Profound gratitude was also expressed toward teachers, basic school headteachers, directors of education, guardians/parents, and all stakeholders for their crucial role.
Five days to the exam, GES warned, “candidates, invigilators, supervisors, school authorities, and parents are advised to desist from any form of examination malpractices.”
It added that GES, WAEC, and the Security Services are working jointly to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination at all centres across the country.
The school selection process will commence after the examination, GES announced.
