3,600 Motorbike Accidents Were Recorded In 2020- Obour Confirms

Road accidents have become a major national concern due to the rate at which it is claiming lives in the country.

Similarly, a huge number of deaths are recorded annually on the tickets of road accidents.

Speaking on Opemsuo Radio, the Acting Director of Ghana Post and Musician, Bice Osei Kuffuor popularly known as Obuor has revealed that, motorbike accidents alone recorded in 2020 were 3600.

According to him, the degree to which road accidents are claiming lives is overwhelming and will require collective efforts to fight and reduce the road accident discourse.

He added that the fight against road accidents is not the sole responsibility of the government of the day but depends on everyone.

He called on drivers to keep their cars in good condition and furthered an appeal to organisations to sponsor and support committed persons and institutions championing the road safety campaign.
