2020 Batch Placement: 759 Slots Remaining for Enrolled Nurses

Only 759 slots are left across the country for recruitment of enrolled nurses into health facilities after the first day scheduled for the placement of enrolled nurses.

The placement exercise began on November 18 and will continue today for enrolled nurses. Data on the exercise on the first day showed that 1,402 nurses were placed.

Of this, forty-nine were placed in the Ahafo Region, 255 in the Ashanti Region, 95 in Bono, 80 in Bono East, 98 in Central, 80 in Eastern, 30 in Greater Accra, 162 in Northern, 1006 in North East, seven in Oti, 104 in Savannah, 101 in Upper East, 62 in Upper West, 29 in Volta, 115 in Western and 29 in Western North.

Placement for enrolled nurses will end today, November 19.

“You can still visit the Regional Health Directorate closer to you today (19th November, 2024) with your documents and choose any of the regions with available slots. They will facilitate your posting and placement in your region of choice,” it announced in an update.

Meanwhile, Community Nurses, Registered Community Health Nurses and Public Health Nurses are to report to their preferred regions for placement on November 20 with their certificates and AIN/PIN from the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

November 21 has been set aside for Registered General Nurses and Midwives with November 22 reserved for Nursing and Midwifery Officers.
