17 Senior High Schools to represent Ashanti in 2021 NSMQ


Seventeen (17) Senior High Schools are set to represent the Ashanti Region in the One-eight stage in this year’s edition of the National Science and Math’s Quiz, which for the first time will be held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), in Kumasi.

The competition saw over 20 Senior High Schools who qualified for the preliminary stage battle out for the One-eight stage of the contest. 7 schools qualified to the next stage of the competition after rounds of contests.

The top 15 losing schools nationwide including 4 from Ashanti Region also qualified to defend their chances at the One-eight stage of the competition.

Below is the list of schools that qualified to represent Ashanti Region in the next stage of the contest.

According to the organisers of this year’s NSMQ, 27 Seeded schools, 39 winners at the prelims, and 15 top runner-ups; totaling 81 schools will battle it out for the ultimate from the one-eight stage to the grand finale of the competition.

For the first time in the history of NSMQ, the competition will be held in Kumasi, at the Kwame University of Science and Technology (KNUST), also, the first time the competition is being held outside Accra, the nation’s capital.

Now the question is, WHO WINS NSMQ 2021?
And the delicate question is, WHICH SCHOOL MAKES IT THE 7TH FOR THE ASHANTI REGION.
